Here are a few pieces of advice that if you follow, you will find success in any job you take on!
- Arrive at your workplace a little early. By doing so you will demonstrate that you are prepared.
- Smile and greet people; then go directly to your work station.
- Work hard.
Learn from your mistakes and don’t repeat them.
- Observe your co-workers to see if they need help and then offer to help them.
- If you’re not busy, look for work to do. Don’t wait around for someone to assign it to you.
- Be agreeable with your coworkers; even if you don’t agree. If you argue, even if you’re right, people won’t like you.
- Always speak slowly, clearly, and in a friendly manner.
- If you don’t need a break, don’t take one.
- Be humble. Don’t argue over who is given credit, even if you don’t think it is fair.
- Stay a little late and wrap up your work well.
- Say goodbye to your coworkers and thank them for their help.
If you make this your habit, at the end of your day, you will feel the happiness that comes from good working relationships and the satisfaction of productivity!
