Digg guy The latest version of the Digg Firefox extension adds a simple but powerful Digg menu to the Firefox web browser. From this menu you'll be able to interact with Digg.com and see information about the web page you are currently viewing as you surf the web. Just follow these easy instructions below to get started.

Installing the extension is quite easy, as long as you already have Firefox installed. If you don't already have the Firefox web browser, don't worry -- Firefox is a free web browser that will work on almost any computer. You can download it here. To install the Digg Firefox Extension on Firefox:

Viewing and Submitting to Digg

The extension allows you to see whether or not the web page you are currently viewing has been submitted to Digg. If the page has not yet been submitted to digg, the extension allows you to submit it.

If the page you are viewing has been submitted to Digg, the extension displays the current number of Diggs the page has, the number of comments the story has, the last 10 diggers, the last ten comments, the first sentence of the story description, previous stories submitted to digg from the same URL (if they exist), other stories submitted to digg from the same domain (if any exist). Clicking any of these options, opens the digg story in a new tab.

Viewing Popular, Upcoming, Top, and Hot Stories

The extension displays recent story submissions, stories that have recently been made popular, the current top stories, and the hottest stories.

All stories also shows the digg & comment count and the lists update in real time! Clicking any story opens the story in a new tab.

Friends activity

If you are logged into Digg, the extension automatically grabs your friends diggs, submissions, and comments. Allowing you to quickly and easily see all of your friends recent activity on Digg.
