This is the first Fascicle of an exsiccat devoted to the Family Teloschistaceae . To assure that the material included will be authentic the species included are the ones where I have studied the types or have otherwise verified the material included. Those species of Caloplaca are only the species included in my previous papers. Species of other genera have been verified by recent monographs or monographers. No nomenclatural changes will be made in the exsiccat. This exsiccat is available in 20 sets with some incomplete sets. The first complete sets are being sent on exchange to the following herbaria and individuals: ASU, BG, CANB, CANL, GZU, KRAM, LD, M, MEXU, MIN, NY, S, TSB, UPS, Kalb. Contributions to this exsiccat are welcome.
