There are over 36,400 lichens in the Minnesota database. This database also includes a few from Emo, Ontario collected by Bruce Fink. There are also a few in the Exsiccat database.
This is a list of all species in our lichen herbarium from Minnesota. Each species is followed by the number of specimens of that species in the herbarium. The list of genera and species is almost as given in Esslinger & Egan (Sixth Checklist) except for the splits of Cetraria. I am also sure there are some synonyms and incorrect names in this list that I haven't had time to change.
