2005 NCCA Nationals in Kansas
It was recently announced that, due to "unforeseen issues" in Connecticut, the 2005 NCCA National Road Championships will be held May 13-15 in Lawrence, Kansas, and will be sponsored by KU Cycling and KLM Marketing Solutions. The official website can be found here.

Reactions from the U of M Team were immediate and positive. "Kansas brings up very fond memories. Traditionally, it has been our season opener, and--coming from the cold North--we always enjoy the wonderful weather and good road conditions," said Andrew T, the club's president. Eric S noted that "The races will be much more than the straight-forward point-to-point races we've come to expect from national championships. There will be other levels of complexity built into the competition, and the winner will have to be more than just a good bike rider. Survival of the fittest. The guys from the military academies should have an advantage this year, as they are highly trained in backwoods navigation." Disappointment came only from recent graduate Josh S: "This would have been the perfect opportunity to really test my Cicloschrott GPS 4 ($849 wholesale), but I guess now that I've graduated I'm out. Ah well." Steve G summed it all up when he said "Know I'm sayin'?"
My point point exactly.
