Minnesota Grey Duck is the official Ultimate team representing the University of Minnesota on the national level. We are a sponsored club sport receiving funds to travel nationally representing the U of M. Last year we had a record of 20-9 and finished 11th in the nation. This year we will better that!
We work hard, practicing and training 3 days a week all year. We travel to at least five tournaments including over spring break. If you play for Grey Duck, you will be expected to improve your athleticism and your skills throwing a disc. Athleticism, Ultimate Frisbee or other competitive sports experience, and commitment to the team are required. This is a great team with fun people working hard and pushing each other to improve their abilities, but also having a lot of laughs along the way.
There is an A team and a B team. Cuts are made after try outs. Both teams practice, compete and hang out together.
