Professor Paul Bloom was the "Soil Chemist on the Scene" for the Department of Soil, Water, and Climate for 34 years. We celebrated his contributions to the Department, College, University, and the field of soil chemistry on Friday September 16, 2011.

In lieu of retirement gifts, Paul requested donations to the William Zanner Memorial Fund. The goal for this fund is to support field based experiences for graduate students in the Land and Atmospheric Sciences program.
