How this group fits into its categories:
Oromia Student Union is a cultural group in that its board members share similar values, beliefs and as well as the same vision in wanting better for their community and particularly the youth. We promote education in our community and create transitional bridge for Oromo students from high school to college and also educate the campus community about Oromo history and culture. We want to see more of our youth graduate from high school and continue their education from an accredited institution such as the University of Minnesota. We are a group that hopes to see more of our youth graduate from college.
