According to the burial record of the Barbados Jewish community, ESTHER's father was JACOB (Shilstone 1956:173). Her tombstone is in the Jewish cemetery in Bridgetown (Shilstone 1956:162-163). See JACOB PINHEIRO II for her possible heritage.

According to the burial record of the Barbados Jewish community, ISAAC's father was JACOB (Shilstone 1956:173). See JACOB PINHEIRO II for his possible heritage.
Mentioned in will of MOSES PINHEIRO, proved November 28th, 1831. No relation is indicated, but he is likely a cousin (Common Records of Nevis 1840-1846:721).
In the burial record of the Barbados Jewish community this JACOB is indicated the father of ISAAC (1765 - 1804), JOSEPH (1775 - 1814), and ESTHER (1783 - 1803). The birthdates of these individuals are much too late for them to be the children of JACOB (1729 - 1803) and HANAH PINHEIRO (1727 - 1818) but the familiar family names indicate that they are certainly of the same tree. It would seem likely (based on his eldest surviving son's name) that this JACOB was a son of ISAAC (1721 - 1795) or possibly his brother ABRAHAM (1726 - 1755) neither of whom have documented families.
According to the burial record of the Barbados Jewish community, JOSEPH's father was JACOB (Shilstone 1956:174). He was listed amongst the Jewish inhabitants of Bridgetown, Barbados in 1810 (Faber 1998:223). See JACOB PINHEIRO II for his possible heritage.
