University of Minnesota Gopher Invite

Thanks from the University of Minnesota Tennis Club to all who made the trip to Minneapolis even with the less than stellar weather. After moving the tournament inside to avoid the rain, Illinois beat Minnesota Gold 27-26 in a super tiebreaker. Also, congratulations to Gustavus for taking home the Sportsmanship award. The University of Minnesota Tennis Club is excited to announce that we will be hosting our second annual Gopher Invitational at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, MN October 3-4.  It is an outdoor event that is held on Baseline’s 12 outdoor courts.

In addition, this year the captains practice will feature an opportunity to network with fellow captains and tennis leaders hosted by a teaching pro provided by the USTA Northern Section. USTA members will be able to show their membership card for a free $10 Golfsmith Golf and Tennis Card. Check out the flyer here.
