Some Steam Locomotives

Union Pacific at Summit, Nebraska, winter 1953.
One of the famous three-cylinder Union Pacific type locomotives of the
Union Pacific blasts upgrade at Summit, Nebraska, near 32nd Avenue in the
winter of 1953. Normally this grade out of Omaha required a "helper"
locomotive but on this day the 9000 type was struggling at a snail's pace
to breast the ascent.
