A westbound Union Pacific freight train in the snow, Christmas Day, 1951.
The lead locomotive is a 2-10-2 class 5000 locomotive; the second is a 9500 class 4-12-2, one of 88 such locos. This car had the longest rigid wheel base of any locomotive. Elkhorn, Nebraska.
