If you love to dance and you love Latin music,
you've come to the right place!
If your heart only has room for one,
stick around, salsa dancing will make you love them both.

Our mission at SDO is:
To support the development and training of all levels of salsa dancers.
To stimulate interest and knowledge pertaining to the art and history of salsa dancing.
To plan and attend events with the Minneapolis and Midwestern salsa communities.
To connect students with opportunities to dance, teach, perform, and share salsa.

~NEWS AND UPDATES~

Hopefully you had a great winter break and are pumped for a great semester.
Salsa classes are held every Tuesday in Peik Gym and each session runs for one hour.
Intermediate and Cha-Cha salsa classes begin on January 18.
Beginner 1 and 2 start Febuary.

The first class is free and it is $30 for the entire semester.

Semester Schedule

January 18, 25
Intermediate 6-7pm
Cha-Cha 7-8pm
Practice 8-9pm

Feburary 1, beginner 1 and 2 start
Intermediate 6-7pm
Beginner 2 7-8pm
Beginner 1 8-9pm
Practice 9-10pm

March 1,8 is specialty classes, bachata/cumbia

March 22, beginner 1/2 classes start again.

April 19, 26 are specialty classes, TBA

May 3, Salsa Social

The first class is free and it is $30 for the entire semester.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS!!
If you are interested in a leadership position,
We will be holding elections on Feburary 15 in between beginner 1 and 2 classes
