Rapid Prototyped Parts

Posted by Marshall on March 12, 2012

This past Friday, two of our team members went to RedEye to pick up a handful of sponsored rapid prototyped parts. Stratasys rapid prototype printed two intake plenums, their corresponding runners, the intake bell mouth and a throttle restrictor. RedEye epoxy coated these parts for air sealage and durability finishing purposes. RedEye is currently gluing the parts together, as the team plans to have them on the dyno engine by the end of the week for tuning. A big thanks goes out to Paul Kelsey, Ansel Slagle, Perry Hubbling, RedEye and Stratysis for everything they have helped our team out with this year!
