Railfanning and the
U - Maik Pertermann has spent plenty of time railfanning in the metro and
here's what he's found near campus...
Minnesota Commercial SW1200 #110
switches the MNNR Midway yard. That is Moos tower above the front bulkhead on
first car.
You can just see campus from the East
Minneapolis yard where we find a SSW GP60 and a UP GP38. These grain elevators
are always pretty easy to spot from campus and within a stone's throw of the
Hruon Parking Complex.
And from the Huron Parking Complex [becase you'll have a
mental complex after trying to park there] we see a SW12 and SW15 at the BNSF
yard boardering the lot.
