North Star Steel

Located in south St. Paul near Newport on Hwy10-61, this mini-mill recycles scrap metal into a full line of rebar and more.

And would you believe they have a second unit numbered 1678C? Yep, this one has no MU and is in a fresher coat of paint. It is a SW9, ex CR 9123 from LTE that arrived in Sept 1997. Thanks to Ken Ardinger for the info and Bob Anderson for the photo from Oct 2004
