 Big new
ideas are in progress for this one - the drafts are online right now! Below are
the different files relating to it. It is a triple deck layout that
incorperates Free-Mo modules into a more permanent layout, giving us freedom to
change scenes and let members create and add their own modules. The lower level
is already very far along and we're getting ready for the helix!
Big
thanks to Bob Sterner for getting this all together, he and Nate Schutte formed
the majority of the initial layout planning committee. Final "acceptance" of
the basic plan was in June 2003, then we started moving on building, starting
at the bottom and working up as time and money permits [we can certainly use
help on the latter part!! - click "How to Join" below for more membership in or
"Contact" to make donations]

great. Just click here!
N scale This layout is small, 3
feet by 4 feet, and is our portable, showcase layout for on campus club days,
etc. It is a continuous loop with some small switching opportunites and is
showcasing the talent of our club. It is focused on the Twin Cities and
surrounding area with some local landmarks that people can identify with. A
specific time period has not been set for this layout but with careful plannig
we can make it span decades by mearly altering the rolling stock.
