E-Tivities: Easy Ways to Engage Students With Technology

This workshop introduces several technology-enhanced strategies that instructors can use to encourage active learning. In-class strategies are covered, as are take home assignments that make use of the Web and other digital technologies. Attention is paid to the strenghts and limitations of each strategy, the contexts for which it is best suited, the time instructors can expect to spend preparing and using the strategy, and considerations for implementation.
