1. Describe normal testicular descent in dogs. What is cryptorchidism? How is it best treated?

Case Study: Your 5 year old intact male pet Pug is a unilateral cryptorchid. His descended testis is slowly decreasing in size and becoming soft. Hypothesize causes for these changes. What diagnostic tests can be used to define your dog’s problem?
