Notes regarding Tylan ® Soluable from label. You should read the entire label.

--For control of AFB (not prophylactic)
--Use as powder (not in syrup)
--Apply 200mg mixed with powder sugar over the top bars of brood chamber once per week for 3 weeks.
--Complete treatment at least 4 weeks prior to main honey flow.
--Avoid contact with skin. Exposure to tylosin may cause a rash.
--Tylan ® comes in 100g jar.

Mix with powder sugar. You will be mixing small amounts of Tylan ® with large amounts of powder sugar. Be sure to mix well.

conversion for volume to weight
1/8 teaspoon =325 mg
1 teaspoon = 2.5 - 2.7 grams

 

MIXING DIRECTIONS

Mix with powder sugar as indicated below. You will be mixing small amounts of Tylan ® with large amounts of powder sugar. Be sure to mix well.

Mix 2.5 teaspoons (measure accurately) into 2 pounds of powder sugar and feed 1 oz (2 rounded Tablespoons) to each colony.
