Many suppliers have changed the manufacturer of Fumagilin for the treatment of Nosema. There may be some confusion with regard to mixing and treatment. The amounts are basically the same as before. The container size for the new product is labeled with the amount of product in the container. The old one was labeled with the amount of active ingredient. I hope this information helps.

To read the charts note the first column is the amount of water, the second column is the amount of sugar to add, the third column is the resulting amount of sugar syrup, the fourth column is the amount of Fumafilin-B to add (grams), the fifth column is the amount of Fumafilin-B active ingredient you have added (grams), the last column is the amount of Fumafilin-B to add (by measurement).

If you make treatment using these charts you would for example (see shaded row); mix 24g bottle of Fumidil-B with 2.3 gallons of water then mix in 37.4 # sugar. This would make 5.3 gallons of medicated syrup.

If you are used to mixing syrup by some other method, continue to mix syrup as you always have. Look in column 3 for the amount of syrup you have and follow that row to the last column and mix in that amount of F-B powder.

BE SURE to read and follow the rest of the label provided with the product.
