Turkey linkage groups
Chicken chromosome homologies

Gga8

Turkey linkage groups as reported in Reed KM, Chaves LD, Hall MK, Knutson TP, and Harry DE. 2005. A comparative genetic map of the turkey genome. Cytogenet Genome Res, 111:118-127.

Map Legend: Alignment of the linkage map for the turkey (units = cM) with a physical map derived from chicken (units = Mbp). The physical map is based on positions (determined by BLASTN) of genetic markers (chicken, quail and turkey) located on the draft assembly of the chicken whole-genome sequence. Red = monomorphic or non-informative, Blue = informative, Green = no significant BLAST hit, Orange = mapped on chicken RH panel. Chicken microsatellite markers are indicated in bold.
