Description: Please join the Persian Student Organization of Minnesota (PSOM) for our second Persian Film Night of the year! The film will be prefaced by an educational presentation beginning at 6:30pm. Free food
and drinks will be provided. The film will start promptly at 7:00pm.

This film was done with many non-professional actors to tell a story of unrequited love in Teheran. Lateef, an Iranian, is a young man whose only concern is with making money in his job as a construction worker. He happens upon Rahmat, an illegal Afghani immigrant whom he plays malicious tricks on. Through their interaction, Lateef discovers that Rahmat has disguised herself as a boy in order to stay in the country. Lateef falls in love with the Rahmat and wants to make her life easier when the company is ordered to fire all employees of Afghan descent, but his love only leads to more heartache. This heartbreaking and timely film is sure to send the message of the difficulties of life in present day Teheran straight into the heart of your audience.
