Michael Goblirsch was born on March 12, 1870 in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota. His parents were Johann Goblirsch and Elizabeth Büchl.

Barbara Seifert

On November 14, 1983 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Morgan, Redwood County, Minnesota, Michael married Barbara Seifert, daughter of Mathias Seifert and Anna Durmer. Barbara was born August 23, 1876 in Preheischen, Kreis Mies, Austria.

Michael worked as a saloon keeper in Morgan, Redwood County and Wadena, Wadena County. He later moved to Perham, Otter Tail County were he worked as carpenter, wagon maker, and shopkeeper. He owned a gentleman's clothing store in Perham with his brother Charles. Later in St. Cloud, Stearns County, he worked as a car repairer for the Great Northern Railroad.

Michael died in 1939 and was buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Cloud, Stearns County, Minnesota.

Barbara died on February 29, 1960 and was buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Cloud, Stearns County, Minnesota.

MRS. BARBARA GOBLIRSCH
Mrs. Barbara Goblirsch, 350-21 Avenue north, died this morning at the age of 83. She was born Aug. 23, 1876 in Austria.

Surviving children are: Mathias, Minneapolis; Clarence, Roswell, N. J.; Mrs. Frank Podlasek (Helen) St. Cloud; Mrs Charles Zwilling, (Ludwina) Swanville; Mrs. Joseph Gorke (Agnes) Bowlus; Mrs. William McGrann (Josephine) Owatonna and William, Austin.

There are 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Goblirsch was a member of the St. Clothilde Society of Holy Angels.

Friends may call at the Daniel funeral home Tuesday afternoon and until the time of the funeral Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Angels church. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.
