Community Outreach

I am able to volunteer four days a year to serve as a writing resource for sixth graders.I chose this age group for sentimental reasons. I received my first diary as a gift as an eleven year old child. I received my first classroom praise and recognition for my writing at that age. I hope to work closely with the teacher to encourage and stimulate a lifelong interest in writing.
