    The Minnesota Free University is an adult education organization
located in Minneapolis and Saint Paul---the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
All classes are free of charge.
Many have a distant learner option. 
(Because there are many other distant learning options in the Internet,
only classes that also have a face-to-face class in the Twin Cities
will be listed, including any opportunities for distant learning.)
The MFU does not offer college credit or college degrees.

    The FUSS is a neighborhood-based free university,
serving the Stevens Square-Loring Heights Neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The FUSS offered its first classes in the Fall of 2003.
