RIGHT-TO-DIE DISCUSSION SERIES

All persons interested in the right-to-die (pro or con)
are invited to take part in this series of discussions.
Each discussion will be independent of the others.
And the theme of the next meeting will be selected
by those who participate in the previous discussion.

    In other words:
All interested persons should attend the first meeting,
at which we will explore our various interests in the right-to-die.
The people at the first meeting
will select the theme for the second meeting.
And the people at the second meeting
will select the subject to be discussed at the third meeting, etc.

The e-mailing list created for all interested persons
will announce to everyone exactly what will be discussed at the next meeting.
And participants will be welcome to attend selectively.
That is, YOU will decide exactly WHICH discussions to join.

Ten possible themes are listed below,
each linked to an on-line essay of three or four pages.
These will be used as discussion-starters.
Each week participants will read the selected on-line essay
before coming to the meeting.

{This discussion series has not yet appeared on the EXCO website,
but when it does, the following instructions will apply.
A world-wide electronic discussion group will be tried first:
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~parkx032/DE-RTD.html}

    How to join this group:
Go to the website of the Experimental College of the Twin Cities (EXCO),
http://www.excotc.org.
search for "Right-to-Die Discussion Series"
Put yourself on the e-mailing list for this series
by clicking the "join" button.
You will be consulted about the best times and places for this series.
And when the series has started,
the participants will select the discussion theme for the next meeting,
which will be shared with everyone on the e-mailing list,
including the link so you can click thru to the on-line essay
introducing the subject for the next meeting.
Thus the participants will determine exactly what will be discussed
and how long the series will last.
