The action starts like a heart warming commercial might, with the father and son spending quality time exploring new technology. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, yet we soon find that a complicated computer is blocking an experience of dinosaurs. The close shots help see the blank expressions of the father and the bored expressions of the son.

The pass of time is mostly conveyed through the camera perspectives and editing. The change of fade out into different perspectives gives the feel of leaving the room and returning later to find the father and son still with no dinosaurs. When the camera fades it is expected that the scene will change, but he constant return to the same scene with short clips allow for a that feel of unproductive time passing and creates an empathy for the patient child.

At the close of the commercial, we are left with no talking, one note from a piano, and a soft, jazzy drum pattering to a light finish. The screen displays the name of the company who has made the commercial and fades to black. It is a simple and easy way to wind up the commercial, not unlike how their computer is meant to be to its user.

Commercial used: "Apple's Dinosaur Commercial" /approx. 30 seconds
