Consultation Process
Welcome
Our services focus on identifying appropriate alternatives and weighing expected results. The consultation does not include making decisions for you or judging the value of your work.  Rather, we help you explore your options and find the best information upon which to base your decisions.  As you reach decision points in the research process we remind you to keep your committee and other stakeholders connected and involved.

ORCS does not provide editing, data entry, or programming services. We will discuss whether you have made reasonable conclusions on the basis of your data and design, but we ask that any text presented be clear and interpretable.

Although our consultants are trained in statistical analysis, methodology, measurement, and evaluation, they may not be able to answer all of your questions. In such cases additional resources will be provided and reference may be made to a faculty member or to the ORCS director.

Please do not visit the office, seeking consultation, outside of your scheduled meeting time.
