This tape is a joint effort by numerous people, including Bat Lenny and members of The Post Void Radio Network (producers of The Little City in Space), people from KFAI radio, and loads of friends. The result is, um, interesting... But in a good way! Side 1 features an extended suite plus two other songs assembled from several different improvised recording sessions featuring several different lineups. Through some nimble editing by Greg Mathieson, the result is surprisingly coherent and melodic. Side 2 was recorded live on an 8 track reel to reel at the Little City in Space 10 year anniversary / Bat Lenny "March of the Small Ones" tape release party, January, 1989. Musicians and non-musicians came and went during the performance, swapping instruments and devices. At times the band outnumbered the audience. It is presented unedited, as it happened. Stylistically it borders on fusion, then slips into some kind of prog rock thing, then a tribal dance, then...

Everything was improvised
