Trip checklist for the birds of Ecuador and Peru

I have followed the order of the Birds of Ecuador, by Robert S. Ridgely and Paul J. Greenfield in producing a trip checklist, i.e., species by day checkboxes, to all the birds listed therein.

I have a similar checklist ala the new Birds of Peru, by James F. Clements and Noam Shany. And you can see the Peru list here as an unformatted web page.

There is also an older checklist following An Annotated List of the Birds of Mainland Ecuador by Robert S. Ridgely, Paul J. Greenfield and Mauricio Guerrero G. (Fundación Ornitológica del Ecuador, CECIA. 1998. 155pp). The Annotated List contains distributional and abundance information which is not included in the checklist. This older checklist can be obtained by emailing me.

The checklists are in multiple forms: a Word table, an Excel spreadsheet, and a comma-delimited text file. The Word version has room for 15 days but you can add or subtract columns from this file. These files are in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format and zipped format (see below). You will need the free Acrobat reader to view and print the pdf versions. If you do not have the reader, here is a link to download one: get reader . Don't worry - it actually looks significantly better when printed than it appears on this web page or in the reader.

The word table format checklists looks something like this, with black separator lines and some thin horizontal and vertical double lines every fifth row and column for orientation (the ordering here is fictional for illustrative purposes):
