The Gopher synchro team swam their way through some tough competition, tying for 19th place overall.
"We're very proud of our swim and glad that we can be a part of this competition," says team President Alissa Moberg.
While it wasn't enough to break into the finals competition, dominated by varsity teams such as Ohio State and Stanford University,
it was a small victory to come out ahead of their hometown rivals from Carleton College.
The Gophers are one of 27 non-varsity/club collegiate synchro teams in the nation.
This year, 9 varsity and 14 non-varsity teams competed against each other at nationals.
