Viri Animarum, a professional, male vocal chamber ensemble, strives to create beauty through sound and inspire the human spirit through the performance of innovative and engaging musical programs. Based in Washington, DC, Viri Animarum has quickly established a reputation for its virile tone, sensitive musicality, and clear intonation. Dedicated to music of all periods, Viri Animarum performs masterpieces of the Medieval and Renaissance choral repertoire and champions music of the twentieth century and music by living composers. Viri Animarum, is dedicated to sustaining the art of male choral singing through concerts, educational clinics, and recordings. Its members, professional musicians all, have received degrees from Westminster Choir College, The University of Maryland, Frostburg State University and The George Washington University.
