About Us

Established in October 1993, My Brother's Keeper (MBK) formerly known as Man-to-Man; is a student directed support group geared torward the promotion of unity and progressive change on the University of Minnesota campus and in the nearby community. My Brother's Keeper stresses the importance of Academic Acheivement and Collective Success among its members.

Our Vision

The vision of MBK is "To make a difference in the lives of men of African Decent by empowering them to face the challenges of our society and to make them into builders of society."

Our Mission

The mission of MBK is "To serve as a platform for students to explore issues and concerns related to men of African Decent."

The Objectives of MBK are to:

Identify successful strategies for getting the most out of the college experience

Explore issues regarding black men and the feelings torward them

Foster an appreciation for each others talents and strengths

Networking and promote a spirit of camaraderie among group members
