War and Occupation!
Say NO to Racism and Attacks on our Democratic Rights!
Bush cannot set foot anywhere in the world today without huge demonstrations greeting him. Outrage at Bush and his war is also growing inside the U.S. - with good reason. Bush spent $87 billion on the occupation (on top of $79 billion for the war) at a time when 9 million are unemployed, 43 million have no health insurance, and our schools are crumbling. And in Iraq, over 500 U.S. soldiers have been killed, the anger of Iraqis is rising, and there is no end in sight.
Bush blatantly lied about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction and links to terrorists. Bush's occupation of Iraq has nothing to do with the liberation of Iraq and everything to do with oil and empire. The Iraqi people have been struggling far too long against colonialism, dictatorship and imperialism. It's time to let the people of Iraq decide themselves how to run their own country.
