Officer Election ResultsCongratulations to the newest additions to the 2009-2010 MAPS Board!! Thank you to everyone who applied. Every candidate was extremely qualified and we encourage everyone to return in the Spring when we elect the new 2010-2011 MAPS Board!Below are the results:
How to JoinJust attend an event or general meeting! There are new members every week.If you have not yet filled out an application form, please do so at the next meeting (You can also download the form here and bring it to the next meeting). The membership fee is $20. If you want to be included in our email list for notification of future events and workshops, please email us at maps@umn.edu. |

VOLUNTEER EVENTS
- Fall Indoor Triathlon
- Sunday, November 15th, from 7:00-10:00 a.m.
- Midtown YWCA/Minneapolis Sports Center
- Volunteers will help with registration, directing hallway traffic, counting laps.
- Volunteer at St. Paul Arlington High School
- Thursday, November 19th, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Assist with measuring height, weight, heart rate, and blood pressures.
- If interested contact Karen Casper at karen.casper@spps.org
- Toy Shop Volunteer Assistant
- Wednesday, December 23rd, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- The Salvation Army Northern Division Headquarters in Roseville.
- Help low-income famlies shop for Christmas presents for their children.
Volunteers will serve as escorts, gift table stockers, sorters,
and registrars.
