Hi, I am Qingxia (Anna) Lin.

In May, I will be graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Journalism, where I specialize in multimedia news writing and reporting.

Born and raised in China, I have learned to appreciate not only Chinese culture, but also American culture. Due to my background, I am able to identify minute details often overlooked by one culture, enhancing my ability to create and re-create content from a fresh, wholly original perspective. I believe strongly in developing and implementing ideas and strategies that demonstrate my ability and commitment to unique perspectives.

I am a quick learner who remains consistent in developing innovative outreach mechanisms for various media platforms including: broadcast journalism, public relations campaigns and social media activation. In my broadcast journalism work, I have researched, shot, edited, and reported digital stories covering topics related to business, entrepreneurship, entertainment and agriculture. I also manage and maintain all social media channels and online content for my startup, Northern Ciderworks, a Minneapolis-based hard cider company.

During my leisure time, I like to cook and bike. Cooking doesn't have to be time-consuming and costly, and biking is the best way to get around Minneapolis, winters excluded.
