Linli Xu is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She joined the faculty of the marketing department in 2012 after receiving her PhD at the University of Southern California.
Her research interests include advertising effectiveness and new product development using quantitative modeling methods. She has presented her works at several marketing conferences, including UTD-FORMS conference, Marketing Dynamics Conference, and INFORMS Marketing Science Conference. She was awarded the 2010 James S. Ford/Commerce Associate Ph.D. Fellowship in recognition of her outstanding scholastic achievement and research.
