I just wanted to quickly e-mail and let you guys know we are home. Our plane arrived this morning at 7:30, we quickly got our bags and were easily home by 8:00 AM. Our trip home was just what you want it to be, uneventful. The girls slept most of the way from China to Los Angeles, we went through immigration in an hour, we actually had pretty good airport food to eat while we waited and all of our flights were on time. When we first got home Brian and I had big plans for all the unpacking we were going to do, but now I am upstairs preparing for my nap and we will see how long it takes before Brian wakes me to cover for him.
Both our daughters are doing well. Izzy was such a trooper, I can't believe how well she did. Elena also seems to be doing pretty well, given all the change she has experienced. She giggles now and seems to have a bit of the devil in her. As a budding toddler, she is so full of energy and we are out of practice on that stage of child development. We need to go through and baby proof the house.
Well, I just wanted to let you know we arrived safely. I am sure we will call in the next couple of days, today we are just to tired and loopy to converse. It was a great trip, but we are happy to be home.
