Libertarians believe in the American heritage of liberty, enterprise, and personal responsibility and recognize the responsibility all share to preserve this precious heritage. We believe that being free and independent is a great way to live. Thus, we hope to build a system which encourages all people to choose what they want from life. Campus Libertarians at the University of Minnesota is a registered academic affiliate of the Minnesotan Libertarian Party.

Once again the main campus of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has Libertarian representation. Our activities benefit the University by expanding the political landscape and awareness of the community. The Libertarian Party’s rich philosophical history of classical liberal ideals provide opportunities for productive discussion on both theoretical and practical aspects of philosophy and politics.
