I am completing my dissertation Expansion of Transitional Justice: Comparative Analysis of Its Causes and Impact. My dissertation examines transitional justice measures - human rights trials and truth commissions - that states use to address past human rights violations. I am currently a doctoral dissertation fellow at the Sawyer Seminar on Humanitarianisms and World Orders. My main academic interests are human rights, transitional justice, peace studies, and East Asian politics applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
