Autobiography
I was born in Iran, in
the lovely city ofEsfahan on1988. I went to the
National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Nodet)
middle school and high school, and graduated with a high school diploma
in Math and Physics major. I immigrated to the U.S. on Dec
2006 to continue my education. I went to the
Wayzata High School , and currently I am studying
Computer Science at the University
of Minnesota Twin Cites, Institute of Technology, Honors
Program.
Extracurricular
I love Persian music and Poetry. I play Tar (lute), an Iranian traditional
instrument, sing in Persian ( Farsi ), and have also started
to
learn piano in the university. Ping-pong
, volleyball, swimming, and
biking are my favorite sports!
I have done computer programming in different languages such
as PHP, VB.Net, C and C#. I have also been
doing web design since high school, and have won the silver medal in
the Iranian National Skills Competition.
I will be doing a UROP with professor Maria Gini during Fall 07, on
terreain coverage algorithms for robots.
