For any jugglers who may read this site, MONDO time is approaching once more! MONDO XVII will be held February 24-26 at Concordia University. More information is available at www.mondofest.org (or, at least, more information will be available there at some point).

There will most likely be juggling games such as endurance and, of course, combat. MONDO generally has some workshops and a number of vendors in addition to the open juggling. There are also the Minnesota State Yo-Yo Championships, if you're into that kind of thing. And, of course, there is the MONDO Spectacular Public Variety Show on Saturday night.

Although our club is no longer officially involved with MONDO, I encourage everyone to come; it should be a good time. I will be there with the club's props, so even if you have none of your own you can come and juggle.

What's this? Why, I do believe it's a total web site redesign!

So, I got tired of the old look of the site and made a new one. I also changed a lot of the guts of the site, so it should be easier to update and easier to add new members. With any luck, I'll do both in the near future. The new site should also look better to people with text-only browsers (hello, Lynx users), and you can be sure that these are exactly the people that the juggling club wants to reach out to.

I will be tweaking the design over the next couple of weeks, as well as getting the Members pages up to date. If the new design looks broken to you, please send mail to juggler@umn.edu with helpful information such as what's wrong and which browser you are using. (Note that by "broken" I mean something that obviously looks wrong, like text overflowing the boxes or not appearing at all. Please do not write to demand more colors or to tell me that your four-year-old could draw a better logo.)

To let everyone (who reads this website) know what is going on with the Juggling Club.

At the moment, we have no lockers. I am holding onto the stuff for the moment. This means that the club schedule will have to fit my own. Thus, the meeting times for at least the next week or two will be:

Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30pm until I get bored, but not later than 5:00

These meetings will be held on Northrup Mall in the same place they have ever been. When the weather is unfriendly, we will be just inside Northrup. If these times do not work for you, please let me know. (Write to juggler@umn.edu.) We should be able to choose some new times to better accommodate everyone.

(Tuesday, September 27, I will most likely not be able to make it. If we are still in limbo then, there will be no club that day.)

Also, we need to renew our student group registration by October 31. In order to do that, we need five full-time student officers. Since several members are not around this year, we may have trouble making that total. If you have any interest in the survival of the juggling club, please get in touch. (Also, the SAO wants to know how many members the club has in total.)

(In the grand traditions of our illustrious club, this will be the last update to this website for the next year and a half.)

Just an update as to the current times and location on our meetings.

Mondays from 2:00 PM (ish) to 5:00 PM (ish).

Thursdays from 2:00 PM (ish) to 5:00 PM (ish).

We have been meeting this winter in the foyer of the Northrop Auditorium as we have in past years. Now that the sky has opened and spewed forth mass quantities of cristaline water particles, covering any speck of brown with its cleansing whiteness, we may be in there for a while, yet. But the end is in sight! Only perhaps two to three months more and we can be back outside on the lawn. But, I digress.

Please let me know if you would like to attend but are unable to make it at these times. We are willing to rotate dates or times if people have conflicts. Also, if you have any suggestions or corrections for the website, tell me those as well.

Hey, look! A website update! It's only been about a year and a month. Or about 403 days.

Well, I finally figured out how to login to our web server now that our former webmaster has either graduated or moved away or is too busy. (I'm not sure which.) We are meeting this semester (Spring 2004) on Mondays and Thursdays from about 2:00 PM to 5:00PM. Mondo starts this weekend, so be prepared for an amazing show featuring the Galchenkos. Volva and Olga Galchenko hold 9, 10 and 11 club passing world records and have also won individual numbers endurance competitions.

First of all, sorry about not updating the page for a while; I've been out of town and didn't really have time around finals. The good news is that I have a whole month off which will give me plenty of time to update the site! Here is a quick link to the site for MONDO: www.mondo-fest.org. If you don't know what MONDO is go to the site and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

On another note, check out this site Flutter-by and watch the movie on the main page since the other ones don't work anymore; then drop me a line and tell me what you think rabdhmster@yahoo.com.

Well so much for putting stuff up every week. I would be doing more with this site but it actually take a lot of time to update the members section everytime a new member joins. To update it I have to redo every member page so that their name appears in the members list on the left hand menu which takes quite awhile to do. So, be patient and I will eventually get them up there. PS I think I'm going to start working on a juggling video over Thanksgiving break, w00t!

Wow, and you guys thought that I would never do anything with this site, well I have, not much right now, but what I did took me quite awhile since I haven't worked on this page or any other page for a long time. Anyway, I have the members section up and kicking. So feel free to stop by and check out what everyone has to say. Tomorrow or later this week I will put up the pictures section and our contact info.

So I finally put up the new site; *applause*. Anyway, if you are here because you saw our sign painted on the Washington Bridge, yes you do you see anyone else around, then come and meet us outside Walter Library (Northrop Mall side) from 2:30-5:00PM on Mondays and 3:00-6:00 on Thursdays; if the weather is poor we will be inside the main lobby of Northrop Auditorium. Hope to see you there.

PS check back on this site, I will be trying to update it weekly.

Hey! How you all doing, this is the new site for the Juggling Club at The University of Minnesota (Not "The University of Minnesota Juggling Club" due to certain rules against association with the U; dumb huh?) Anyway, we'll see how much stuff we can get up on this site: Stories, videos etc. Once the site is up and running at full speed we will have all of our showtimes posted so you can come enjoy the show. If everything goes smoothly this year we'll earn enough money to resupply our props and hopefully gain a lot more members. Make sure to check back often, you never know what we'll do next.
