Outreach Definition

I define outreach broadly as high-quality public education that both addresses an informational need of a user group as well as produces benefits to all citizens of the state and the environment. I do not have an appointment with the University of Minnesota Extension Service; however, I envision many of my programs being similar to those undertaken by the state extension wildlife specialist.
