Transform is an ongoing project for me and may continue to grow as long as I live. I have taken the plaster castings of my tumor and have begun destroying them in various manners. I document the actions taken to "transform" my cancer into rubble (smashing it against a wall, running over it with a car, throwing it off a bridge into water). It has been used in art therapy, the act of manifesting your illness or issue in a physical form and then destroying it. I must say it is highly satisfying .
