| This section offers suggestions on use of
ProSelect for panel interviews that are normally
conducted by search teams. A member of the search panel should be responsible for selecting an initial master interview guide the panelists will then work with to modify for the vacancy. Printouts of this master guide are prepared for each panel member and refinement of the guide is conducted at a team meeting. The final guide can identify which team member will be asking each of the interview questions during the interviews. Often, each panelist will be assigned one or more competencies and will ask all of the questions under that competency. Interviews are conducted in normal fashion and any of the panelists may ask for clarifications of the applicant's answers. Scoring - There are two basic approaches to scoring: Consensus Individual These approaches could also be combined by first doing individual scoring by each panelist and then looking for consensus to arrive at group scores.
