
Jeff & Lori Ballantyne
Jeff Ballantyne was born in Idaho and graduated
from Boise State University in 1977 with a Bachelor in Business
Administration. He then worked in business for two years and traveled to
Minnesota in 1980. Shortly after coming to Minneapolis, he became a
follower of Jesus. His interest in God's word and ministry blossomed
immediately. He attended North Central Bible College for three years and
completed a one-year internship in International/Campus Ministry at the
University of Minnesota. Jeff has worked seventeen years with
international students from many different countries and during the last
ten years, it has been more focused on Chinese students. He has taught
English as a second language in China and has built relationships with
hundreds of international students over the years. He co-led a one-year
ministry internship program. His wife, Lori, was born in
Pennsylvania and graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in
Architecture. She then traveled to Minnesota where she met Jeff. For the
past twenty years, Lori has worked for a small mechanical engineering
firm. Together, they have opened their lives and home to many
international students since their marriage in 1981.

Ashok and Kristy Isaac
Ashok Isaac graduated with a degree in
Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras,
India in 1995 and worked as a computer consultant for 6 years before
joining ISF as an intern. Though for many years he rejected his Christian
background, he became a Christian after a life-changing encounter with
Jesus in 1997. He has been involved with ISF since 1999 and now leads a
multi-cultural home fellowship.
