RED-ZONE
Welcome to RED-ZONE the most realistic football game ever created.
If you would like to get a league going we have a online system that also works for paydirt. It is a very small file about 2 mb and can play on very slow computers even with a modem it has blazing speed and is simple to use. It also keeps track of over 24 team stats. All you need is a computer a good ISP connection and each player must have same set of charts for reference.
How does the game play?
Fast and easy, super realistically Why? Because we work at it! Each year we scout the 32 pro teams by analyzing game film of every game played during the season. From these we determine each team's weakness on offense, defense and special teams. We convert all this information into simple play/action charts.
There are no tricks to playing RED-ZONE. Just sound football strategy. You call all the shots on offense and defense. Your ability to get the most out of you team-with a solid game plan, tough defense and "the breaks"will determine if you will or lose.
A continuing duty of Simulation Sports is to keep this game up-to-date. With RED-ZONE people can expect that their game will reflect the latest in team rules, plays. Of course, for the last few years we have been improving and polishing for the fans.
Whats the difference between PAYDIRT & RED-ZONE?
RED-ZONE is a advanced version of Paydirt it also includes new up to date rules. There are also 9 additional optional columns.
Kickoff & punt, interception return defense
Field goal, extra point defense
Quarterback run defense (helps contain running Quarterbacks)
Defenses also roll for fumble recovery (some defenses recover fumbles better)
If defense recovers their is a fumble return column.
Fake or botched kicks in punt, field goal column
Advanced rules see rules in dowload section.

Goal here is to keep this game alive and maybe someday get it on the market.
Answers to most asked questions
There is no formula to making charts. I use game film and break down the plays then sort the plays. Then I put them on the charts in correct %. Using this method is very time consuming, but at least you get the real plays. There are a lot of ways to average 4 yards a carry.
How come the charts cost so much (color prints average .80 to 1.00 a print and you need over 64 of them) next time you go to the print shop ask for the price
Where is the PC paydirt, it was removed because the maker did not abide by our agreement and the sales of original paydirt seasons for money is not something RedZone want to be associated with.
