I guess Apple shipped a Mac G5 seed unit to us yesterday, but there's no word on when it'll get here. “Seed” is a word that Apple uses much like other companies use “beta.” Therefore, I probably won't be able to say much about the machine once it arrives. I guess we'll only have it for less than 4 weeks, which is unfortunate, but better than shelling out the $2-3000 for a permanent new box.
The intern that has been working here this summer is expected to leave on Friday, so I guess we'll all be treated to Applebee's for a goodbye lunch.
Free food! Woo!
Er, I hope it's free (but it won't kill me anymore if I have to pay ;-)
