Highlights

After living in San Diego for about 14 years, Sue moved with husband Howard (married in 2001) and dog PennyRenae back to Roseau in 2003. Howard passed away on May 1, 2003 from a long illness and she has been there ever since. She purchased a home in town in 2003. She enjoys bowling during the winter months and now has an average of 150. Sue sings in the Reed River Choral (a local seasonal choir), usually doing Christmas programs where they have a packed church every time (she also sing in the church choir). She has the privilege of being able to work from the comforts of her home in Medical Transcription (her career since 1974). She recently left her long time employer (as they started outsourcing jobs to India) and transferred to a new company based out of Massachusetts. As she is able to work on a laptop: In February/March 2006 Sue & mom Thelma spent 6 weeks in Scottsdale, AZ to get away from the winter; In Jan/Feb/March 2007 she went alone to Mesa, AZ for the winter; In Feb 2008 she spent the month with a friend in Florida (see photo…..no, the bike is not hers but that could be a dream). She has no plans for travel this winter yet, but that could change.

About Susan

Sue and Howard re-located to Roseau just before his untimely death. She has since re-established residency for herself and her puppy with a new house and a long-distance on-line high-speed interaction with her old job from a new location.

Since she tele-commutes, she is free to travel. This allows her to spend winters in Arizona. This travel freedom also allows Thelma the opportunity to escape to the warmth as well, something she hasn’t done since her Padre Island days.
